Hope everyone's had a safe and happy 4th of July...
Now it's time to get down to business! Just a few quick notes before we get started TONIGHT, Tuesday at 12:01 AM ET!
***In my auctions last year, there has been some concern by some owners that some of the owners were 1) discussing trades prior to the draft ending or 2) working in cooperation (i.e. I'll quit bidding on your player if you quit bidding on mine kind of talk). Both severely taint the spirit of the auction format and I ask that you refrain from such discussions. If any owner tries to discuss such topics with you, please inform the commissioner IMMEDIATELY.***
For most of you, the rest of the text you have seen before, but I need to mention it again especially for the new guys who's doing their first auction with me...
When the auction begins tonight,
All Owners can nominate ONE player from 12:00AM-11:59PM each day..
It is not necessary to nominate right at midnight, midnight just signifies the window when nominations can begin for each day.
***Also, on the very first day of nominations, all owners are required to log in by 8PM ET.***
Failure to log in to the league by 8PM can result in me replacing you in the league with another owner with a refund of you (if a full dues are paid by the new owner). This is for your protection as well as the league's. Let's say something happened to you and you were not able to get online for days. This way your team isn't handicapped and you get your money returned. This also protects the league by giving the new owner every opportunity that the other 11 owners have, thus maintaining the league's integrity and competitiveness. "
Other Auction Reminders/How-To's:

For days 1-7 of the auction, nominate ONE player per day starting at 12:00AM ET to 11:59pm ET. Days 8 - 14 you can nominate 2 per day. On Day 15, you can nominate as many as you like to fill out your roster.

"If you nominate more than the allotted players per day, each extra nominations will cost your team 5 Bidding Bucks per violation." For now, you are allotted 1 nomination per day per owner. I will remind you when nominations goto 2 per day, but for now, only 1 nomination per day.

To nominate a player, click on "Place Auction Bid"...then select your player and the MAXIMUM you are willing to spend on that player...then submit your bid...if you choose a value too low but isn't truly your MAX, then it will just drag the auction on. You can always come back and rebid on your own current high bid auctions either lowering or raising the bid.

BUDGET YOUR MONEY TO DRAFT 20 PLAYERS WITH A $400 CAP. For Example: If you have 17 players on your roster and have spent $350. The MOST you can bid on a player is $48. The remaining 2 roster spots will be filled with $1 players if you choose to do this.

There will be NO BID RETRACTIONS...so be VERY careful before you hit the submit button!!!

Remember, draft a FULL STARTING ROSTER. There will be no waiver pickups until after the 1st weeks games. I would even advise picking up an extra kicker. 2 years ago, Vinatieri almost missed week 1 because of his hammy. If you only had Vinatieri on your roster, and if he had missed the game, you would have taken a 0 for your kicker.

If you want to get emails updates on the auction, make sure you have that setting turned on in your advanced settings. Lmk if you need help setting this up.

There will be no dropping of players until after the auction is over.

There will be no trading until AFTER the auction is over.

The starting requirements for this league is 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1Flex (RB/WR/TE)/1 K and 1 DEF.
If you have any questions or concerns, please bring them up before the auction begins...remember any league rule changes will take majority vote up until the auction begins. Once the auction begins, all rule changes will need a Unanimous vote.
